1-1/2 ounces 100% agave blanco tequila

1 ounce fresh lime juice

1/2 ounce grenadine or crème de cassis

Ginger beer or ginger ale

Combine first three ingredients in a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice. Shake or stir, then strain into an ice-filled collins glass.

Top with ginger beer and stir gently to combine. Garnish with a lime wheel.
